Isbell Animal Clinic
Isbell Animal Clinic has been providing exceptional animal care to Gadsden, Alabama and the surrounding communities since 1926.
A full service, walk-in clinic, we offer a variety of services including boarding, dental care, heartworm testing and treatment, in-clinic diagnostics, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, in-house pharmacy, bathing and nail trims, artificial insemination for breeders, surgery, as well as hospice/euthanasia and cremation services.
Since 1926 when Dr. Robert Isbell opened the doors for business, the clinic has evolved with the passage of time to meet the needs of the community. Beginning as a clinic serving mostly farm animals, it gradually changed during the ownership of Dr. James Isbell to more of a companion animal clinic. Dr. Jackie Garrett purchased the clinic in 2000 and although the walk-in clinic is now predominantly for companion pets, our core values regarding our commitment to excellence in animal health care remain the same as those instilled by Dr. Robert Isbell. The doctors and staff at Isbell Animal Clinic want to make sure that when you visit us for pet care, you and your pet have the best experience possible-because your family is our family.
Isbell Animal Clinic operates as a walk-in clinic, meaning that we do not schedule appointments ahead of time, with the exception of planned surgeries. Payment is due when services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards (excluding American Express), and Care Credit.
If you live in Gadsden, Attalla, Glencoe, Hokes Bluff, Rainbow City, or Southside, Alabama, come see us at Isbell Animal Clinic and let our family take care of all your pet family’s needs. We look forward to seeing you.
